Geekend is the D-guilds own LAN party where we, for three days, fill iDét in the cellar of the E house with anything from VR to movies to Smash-tournaments. Bring your own computer (we will offer transport) and come to iDét the 10-12 February! If you don't have your own computer, or just don’t feel like playing computer games, no worries! There will be plenty of other things to do. Why not try our VR setup, play on our Switch, play dart or ping pong, try all our board games, practice your coding, or get a group and bake some delicious fika? So, whatever you wanna do, with a group or by yourself, come to iDét, and let's have an awesome time together. Feel free to come and go whenever you want! Do an elbow warm-up and strengthen your sight, soon we will go on yet another DÖMD 🎯 The 20/4 - 22/4 will the D guild participate in Europe's biggest dart tournament filled with Darting and Parting. This is during the reexam period så make sure you don't have any exams before you signup Through this form, you will be able to sign up for the D guilds team, and for the bus trip up and down. The guild will not take care of the accommodation, you have to do the by yourself. On the 4-5th of March we’ll fix iDét, by doing some bigger projects than usually possible during a normal Fixing night due to time or space restrictions 🛠️ We’ll serve brunch and dinner both days, a food application will be posted when the event approaches. There will be a small Tack at the end of Sunday for people who participated! 🥰

Lund University is currently under pressure from Google, since we have vastly exceeded our total storage quota. We are using around 350 TB of our 120 TB quota to be shared among more than 100 000 students. The previously unlimited storage has now turned into a hard quota, meaning that the student domain will be locked by Google Feb 1st if we don’t alleviate this problem. If this happens, no students will be able to edit their files. Due to this urgent situation, we are forced to take swift action. We will need to enforce a personal quota of 10 Gb on all students. This will affect you in the following way: For current students: We urge you to delete all data exceeding 10 Gb before Jan 31st. If you don’t comply with this, your files will be locked. You can send and receive emails, but not edit your files. Download will still be possible. They will be editable again when you are compliant. For former students: Former students are students who has no active registration for spring semester 2023 and also has been inactive during 2022: During Jan 31st we will start deleting data from your account. Please download all data you want to keep before 07:00 Jan 31st. If you have any problem with this, please contact servicedesk@lu.se immediately. We are sorry to give you such short notice, but we have unfortunately no alternative. All Google services for our active students will be rendered unusable otherwise. Please delete any files you don’t need. Please help each other to solve this problem for all students at Lund University.
